I mean, ok.. they have helped some people during this disaster in New Orleans.. but now all they have done the last few days are pick fights with newspapers, pick fights with CNN and other channels, put themselves over as these big humanitarians.. put over their ratings success.. Fuck them. I'm sick of O'Reilly and Rivera.. All they want is the fucking glory.

I know that a lot of times the things they say are really just their own interpretations of the facts, they leave out what they don't want to mention- a recent example is how O'reilly has said that France is offering us very little (tents and cots and a dozen aids). he's left out other things that France offered b/c of his personal bias towards France. All tv news is pretty bad really. I saw a study a year or 2 ago, don't remember who put it out, that said that the people who watch Fox news only are usually wrong about the simple facts of current events. Cnn and Nbc didn't fare super well, but their viewers crushed the Fox viewers as far as knowledge about current events went. I thought it was an interesting study and wish I could figure out the link to it..

I don't see it as being any more biased than any other news agency. I mean CBS was caught holding the smoking gun on a semi-fabricated story and they are not getting as much crap as Fox News. I just think that some people don't like what Fox News has to say. I don't think they are perfect, but I also don't see them as being worse than any other news agencies. They are all biased.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | the news media seems to skew a little more liberal but overall the two heavyweights at opposite political spectrums Fox News and the New York Times seem to cancel each other out. I don't have a problem with either one, so to each his own whatever you prefer to read or watch. The only program I regularly watch on Fox News is the O'Reilly Factor just cause Bill cracks my shit up when he gets upset at Michael Moore or Sean Penn and starts screaming at the camera. |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | I got sick of Fox News a long time ago, for local news I watch the local news shows and for national/international I usually watch CNN and various websites. |
