I'm from the United States as you all know, and all I have to say is.. Hell no! a black man couldn't be president. As much as we think racism is down, it's not what it once was... believe me it's still there. We aren't out trying to hang blacks anymore, but we do feel uncomfortable being around them. We do. If they are walking behind you, you walk faster. If they are in the same elevator you watch your wallet. I'm not saying everyone does this, but it happens.. it happens all the time. Little subtle things that you don't really think much of. People would say that they would vote for the black man, but when they get to the election site will they REALLY pull the trigger on that? I don't think so.

I would say Canada is liberal enough to vote for a black prime minister, but there aren't any black people in Canada.
