Have you ever seen a ghost? Felt the presence of the ghost? Are you scared of ghosts?

Once on a camping trip with my parents and brother, I was about 10 years old, and there was the main checkout place where you register and buy fishing equipment and shit.

So me and my brother were walking around, and beside the register office is this pretty big lake. There was this memorial stone reed or something, I can barely remember, the thing was remembering these 8 kids who were about 6-8 years died in the lake when they made a boat and obviously it didnt work out.

Freakiest.Night.Ever. Lot's of children's laughing, even some stereoptypical howling, the odd random THUMP from the register office which was completely unexplainable. Nutty stuff.

We talked to some people who lived there (Well, stayed for a few weeks every year as they had a big mobile home) and it happens every night there.

Ive seen ghosts.. I was glad to move out of one house because of them.

I have also seen something other than a ghost, I dont know what the hell it was but it scares the shit out of me now just thinking about it.. i think i'll leave it at that.

I believe in ghosts. I mean, how do you know what happens to you after you die?

I remember being about four. And I talked to this old lady once, when I was playing playdoh on my little table and chairs.

My dad came over and asked who I was talking too, I replied "Your nanna, Daddy"

He was quite shocked and got very upset.

I didn't see her again after that.

"Right now I'm solo but that will be changing eventually..."

I've seen ghosts. Sometimes I was on drugs. Mostly I wasn't. I know they were just tricks that my mind were pulling on me. They happen often when your stress levels are high (when you are scared), you haven't had much sleep, or you are in a mid-state of consciousness. It's a very widely studied field.

There's a lot of evidence on what happens to your brain to create hallucinations. There's no evidence, ever, of a ghost.

But myth is stronger than science on this board so let's continue believing in Casper.

When you say there is no scientific proof that ghosts exist, does that mean there is scientific proof that suggests they don't exist?

I've never seen one, I've never met somebody that has seen one, but I have met people who have heard strange things in their house.. Most of which they couldn't explain, but it was most likely explainable..

I don't really know what to think about ghosts.. Why do so many people claim they have seen ghosts, if they don't exist? Are all of these people crazy and/or in a certain state where their mind has begun to play tricks?
