Swear word limit?

I understood every word of this sentence and how to take it..

Kids are going to swear regardless of what you tell them. The more you tell them not to swear, they swear..just to irritate you. If you let them swear then they won't feel the need to swear as much..

It's just like if weed was legal at age 18..A lot of kids wouldn't bother smoking. A lot of kids just smoke weed to be rebellious..

The classroom has to have limits. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Should kids be able to smoke in class? How about bring guns to school? There's no harm in smoking a cig during class, forget that second hand smoke stuff.

How about mutual masturbation? Or just the regular kind? Kids do it anyway, just like swearing. Let them go at it.

You can't let them do whatever they want. Whether you are willing to admit it or not schools need to set-up an environment for kids which will be able to put them into the real world, where they will have real social interactions. If we want to breed an anti-social society where nobody communicates properly and everything is hostile, it makes sense.

Furthermore, in my highschool we couldn't even use incorrect grammar. You couldn't say "ain't" what makes it okay to say "fuck"?

Its just a stupid idea, like Reily said, 40 mins a lesson and the teacher is gonna have to stop ebery 5 seconds to put a tick next to someones name. What happens when they hit the quota, they get a punishment, so they swear some more and theres nothing anyone can do about it then.

I swear if the school I teach in next year follows this idea i'll submit for relocation.

Also 've heard if you're a qualified teacher, you can bypass alot of the US Immigration clauses, anyone know if that is true, I want to live in Texas or NYC.

You are going to compare swearing to smoking and sex acts? Well..I guess this debate is over.

Bodily fluids could be dangerous..smoke as well. What if a kid dropped a cig on the carpet? Fire? maybe?

Teens shouldn't be smoking, have firarms, or have sex at school. It's not appropriate. And either is swearing.

Growing up, not once did I ever feel cool for swearing and I dont think any of my friends ever did. Maybe, just maaaaybe, when I was 7 or 8, but by the time I was 10 it was definately just a common thing that all kids naturally did.

Kid's are dumb as hell, but they are still smarter then adults give them credit for. Blitz' view is a typical view of an adult, they do react to rules like that in some situations but it doesnt apply to swearing.

I don't really know where I was going with the sex thing. I guess it was all that business that Blitz said about swearing being natural, as if that was a legit reason.

Man, what a whack school rule! They allow you to cuss? So i could tell the fruitcake in the back of class to "shut the fuck up" or tell the teacher to "mind yo own fuckin business"? And it'll just get tallied on the board? Dayyyymn...what about all the other bad words?
