Obviously this is retarded, all I can remember in high school was so much God damn crap with Merit systems and Sign in registration sheet's that our 40minute class was usually over before it had started.

This will waste SO much teacher time, cant anyone else see that? Kids will purposely swear 4 times to be cheeky about it, and each time they do, the teacher will have to mark it down beside their names.

That's a pretty stupid point of view.

In life, you need to be disciplined for many different situations. School is basically a waste of time from the age of 10-15 (Where you dont learn an awful lot, past the basic things and before the advanced learning) but it teaches you disciplines and respect for going on to work life or just being able to act sociably in appropriate situations.

Obviously you dont want to continually swear in the workplace or in a job interview.

You are comparing a job and a job interview to high school? Haha..not where I live. High school is a joke and should be treated as one. People in college however, even the proffesors swear sometimes and nobody laughs or giggles, it's just like whatever, and we learn a lot more than in 9-12..

What are you talking about?

Basically, without confusing you dear Blitz, there are situations in life, generally, where it's not a good idea to swear.

If you can't do something as easy as learning to control your own swearing then you haven't been discplined enough, and many people do have a terrible mouth on them. Its not that swearing is a big deal to me, but constantly hearing "Its fucking stupid... how fucking lame..." gets, pretty fucking lame.

It's like this Lewis Black thing I heard once. It goes something like this:

People tell me I curse too much. I'd stop, but I just don't give a shit. You see, everybody has said the word "fuck" at some point in their life. Like, you stub your toe, and you yell out "FUCK!!!" And even if you havent said it out loud, you've thought it to yourself. And that's just as bad as saying it, at least according to the Catholic church. Even the Jews agree on that one.

And besides, if you go outside in the middle of the winter, and don't have the proper clothing on to keep you warm, and you don't say "FUCK!" Then YOOOOOOOU, have anger issues.

In New York City, where I live, "fuck" isnt a word, it's a comma

Yeah, I understand that you should learn to control your swearing habits, however, I don't see it as a big deal in a high school setting. That's all I'm saying.

I see it differently in a work setting.

High School in America is pretty much a joke. That doesn't mean we should degrade it further by allowing swearing though.

College professors are known to swear but it's seldom. They don't get four times or some goofy ass rule to do it .

Just for the purpose of being a smart ass every day I would walk into everyone of my classes look at my teacher and in Jay and Silent Bob style say, "Fuck Fuck Mother Mother Fuck, Mother Fuck, Nois Nois Nois 1-2, 1-2-3-4 Nois Nois Nois." I think I might go to that school just for the hell of it.

And for an actual intellectual post:
School is not only about teaching you your ABCs, it's about learning how to conduct yourself to standards that are acceptable to other people. Yes I agree if you get offended by the use of the cuzz words then you should fucking grow up and go fuck yourself, but I must respect it because that's you and you get offended by it so I'm not gonna offend you one prupose. I just gazed the article but I didn't see anything about an age on there, but by allowing kids to cuss it school it doesn't teach them the proper way to conduct them selves in a correct and proper way. It teaches them that it's ok to swear in tolerance where ever you are, and it's not.

Dead on. The 14 year old mind could explode if it wasnt harnassed by discipline and rules.

I use to swear all the time until I realized that its pointless, takes the meaning out of most of your statements and is generally an unintelligent way of communication.

I mean, this whole fucking thread is full of god damn fucking bullshit anyway.
