How much do you work when you work?

How much do you actually work during the day?

A lot of the time that I work is just non-sense filler crap where not much of anything is going on. Talking, goofing around, playing games on the Internet, sending dirty e-mails that could get you fired, having coffee, etc.

There's little real work time.

Then when I travel, which is every week, I do about as little as I can.

It seems like most offices are like this. Is yours?

I've never had a job that involved more than sitting on my ass and filling out some papers and shit.

The hardest thing I ever had to do and I got payed for was actually when I was 16..I used to watch my Aunt's kids and they would suck the life out of me.

Depends on what you consider work. I have a lot of Phone Confrences with our other offices, and a lot of meetings. If I dno't have a meeting, I do probably a total of 2 hours a work in a 8 hour day.

I'm on here aren't I?

I do make up for it though. On the weekend I spent 17 hours running a two day workshop for young people interested in a career in music.

Ask me anything about the music business, I guarantee it won't be dumber than some of the questions I've had to field.

I usually work pretty hard when I work. I work 5 or 6 days a week, 8-12 hour shifts. I make good money, but the job isn't easy. I'm outside most of the time, helping caddy golfers, parking carts, moving range buckets etc...

Yesterday a girl called in sick and screwed me over. My boss asked if I could stay an extra hour or two to help with the evening golfers, and that turned into an extra 6 hours. I ended up caddying from 7 AM till 9:30 PM. 14 and a half hours is a damn long time to carry heavy golf bags around in the pouring rain with no breaks. I feel so sick today, and I had to work 7-6.

I have to work hard when I am at my job. I work at store part time while going to school but this summer I had between 35-40 hours a week. There are no computers to play around on, no t.v. to watch or anything like that. Just unloading trucks and putting up merchandise and straightening the merchandise at night. It is not the hardest job in the world by any means, but it is not the easiest either.
