Yes, I'm sure some of you may recall my adamant stance against cellular phones, or maybe you didn't really give two licks, or didn't remember at all. But I digress, I caved and am now the proud(?) owner of a Samsung a680.

Anyways, where can get some quality free ringtones? Anyone....

Just google free ring tones. Though most the ringtones I found were really gay, not many good songs get made into ringtones.

I tried Dr. Every ring tone seems to cost at least ten cents. I don't have that type of kablingey.

Well I just googled "free ringtone" or "free ring tone" and found shitloads of sites.

Then you just go on the net with your phone and download them.

Sorry, just having a shango moment. I do have a phone but my ringtone is simply a normal ring ring, ring ring. Thats not to be cooler then everyone else in a sly kind of way (which it makes me) but in truth, I used to go nuts with the old ringtones. I dont think I ever bought one, but I kept going through loads and loads of free ones everytime I got bored. It was an obsession, especially as every ringtone was so shit.

I like my new tone. Ring ring. Ring ring.

My friend has a ring tone of Mobb Deep's "Get it Twisted"...I love the song, but not as a ring tone, it makes it look like he wants to be a thug or something. Some songs just don't work as ring tones.

If you were cool like me and had the palm treo, you could have mp3's as ringtones and be able to have anything you wanted as a ringtone. I am sure your provider will have ringtones on their website. They usually just charge it to your bill and are pretty cheap.

I did the "cooler than you" ring-ring ring-ring one for a while, but then I got bored and found one for "Bittersweet Symphony" on Muchmusic.com. The violins and drums at the beginning actually translate surprisingly well into a MIDI file.
