Cleaning-do you?

Your house/room/appartment/cave. How often do you clean and is there any pattern to it or do you just randomly clean when you have to start kicking stuff out of the way to get around? Are you a piler,hider,packer, or throw awayer? Do you like doing it your hate it more than life itself?

Cleaning I do. Washing and Sweeping I do not.

My wife, vacuumming and floors she does.

Laundry and dishes I do.

Argue we do not.

You got the crappy end of that deal. Laundry suck because of the putting shit away afterwards. I live with my brother and he can't be arsed to do any cleaning what so ever. It is just something he has never done even growing up. His room always looked like a bomb hit it with clothing for carpet lol. I have to do every single bit of it. It is just something I have come to accept and just do. I get lazy and let shit build up but at least there is no one to get on my case about it lol.

Yes I know it's the worst of all the duties but I was trained at a young age how to do laundry and she hates it so I just do it when it needs doing.

Plus, I used to wash dishes for a living for 5 years straight so it is something I have down to a science. I can get two day old eggs off a pan in 5 minutes or less with the right tools. lol

I hate hate hate sweeping and mopping the floor though. The lysol we have gets in my nose when I used it on the mop and makes me want to vomit. we tried switching brands but everything makes me cough and almost vomit.

I try to leave the apartment when she does it now.

Get that stuff that you have to mix with water. You always see it on those infomoercials. I don't mind any of it really. ANd you should get a dishwasher lol. We have one thank god and a washer/dryer in the condo. I odn't mind doing the sweeping and we have hardwoodish floors and only 1 rug. same with my room. I clean my room but it always looks lived in to I usually just arrange stuff to less cluttered lol.

We have a dishwasher but my wife makes this gourmet meals that won't come off the plates or cookware even with just soaking. You really have to get in there elbows deep to get that stuff off.

I usually stick it in the machine afterwards but to get it completely clean I have to give it my pre-treatment too. lol

I just let stuff soak for a week and then put it in the dishwasher lol. When I do cook it is usually just salad or something that doesn't take long unless I am in the mood for it. I go in cycles. Right now I am in the eating out cycle. Mind you it is usually healthy food like sushi, anyway that is a different thread.

I am a packrat. I don't like to throw hardly anything away except actual trash. I hide stuff and pile stuff up at home. At work I have to sweep the store though and straighten merchandise on the shelf. Not really that bad.

lol I wish we could do that here. We use so many plates in a day the sink would be running up to the celing by the end of the week if I let it go. Plus we are both neat freaks and like to keep a constantly clean kitchen to the best of our abilities.

She cooks a lot of pork and veggies....soy sauce is in a lot of her dishes as well.

I just had pancit and lumpia for lunch so I'm sure the dishes are waiting for me when i get home. lol

Dishes: I go when I have some time.
Laundry: I let my mom do that, just to stop her from getting bord.
My Room: When I have to. If there's a flat inspection thats when I titdy my room.. which would be usualy once a month. Although If I felt the place was a right tip then I'd clean it. also if a girl was coming round.. the place deffinatly has to be clean for then!
