I'd like to get my own band management company going, instead of working for other assholes. I think I can get it together in the next few years.

Organize venues for them, that seems to take up 80% of my day, basically being the middle man between venues (pubs, clubs, whatever) and the bands. I also act as a middle man between bands and recording studios, but that's a much smaller part of it, seeing as bands play gigs every week but only record every so often.

Most of the more high end stuff, such as negotiating with the record companies etc, is done by my boss.

I was actually in the paper, an interview and a photograph of me looking like a dick holding a guitar, on Friday last week for work, to promote a tour of 6 of our artists through the Southern Tablelands/Southern Highlands and Canberra region.

No worries.

It actually sounds a lot more interesting than it really is. There's a lot of crap you wouldn't even think about that goes into running a gig, insurance etc. Least I get left to my own devices most of the day, so I can just sit here with all my real friends, on KYN.
