haha, this reminds me of how my European Government professor covered the UK and Scotland. Basically admitted that Scotland had concession govt that had little power while any real power is centered in England.
I'm glad to see Americans taking an interest, I learned most of this stuff in Euro History and Politics classes but didn't get to most of this stuff untill college. They just don't teach our kiddies this stuff in the K-12 schools. I guess they figure, why should we care, let's waste time teaching them Shakespeare instead of how today's world works. Wales is indeed a principality, we like to think we run everything ourselfs, but its all done in London (England). We have our own flag, and we also have our own Language which is Welsh, not many people speak it, but I am one of the few who do! wahooo! So our main language is English. Our Capital city is Cardiff.

I don't even think you could call Wales a part of Europe since last time I looked they left us out of the official EU map... which didn't really bother me anyway.

Rite now i've said my bit i'm off to find my sheep Delilah..... :baa:
