Rep Power: 11 ![]() | The Arts Does anyone hear have any involvement in the arts? Are you in a theatre group? Do you play in a band, orchestra or anything else? Do you paint? Sculpt? Draw? Rub your naked body against a canvas (I thought I should include Bouchie)? Also, do you patron the arts often? Go to plays, opera, gallerys etc? The arts are terribly overlooked in todays society, I would like to see if it's a major part of anyones life on this forum. I work for the Arts Council of NSW, so I seem to be over immersed in it day in, day out. NB: Watching wrestling is not supporting the arts. |

Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My dad is an actor, my mom was an artist/actress/director before teaching, and my older sister just graduated from theatre school, so I've always been a really artsy kid. I did the Advanced Placement Visual Arts program at my high school through Princeton, and I had big roles (Danny Zuko in Grease, Nick in Fame, Prince Charming TWICE) in all of the plays and projects nights. I was also a model/choreographer for the school fashion show, and made all the girls cry at the talent show. Then there's the whole music thing, which I spend most of my non-JVN free time on. I also won the school's Practical Arts award last year, for being all-around good in the Fine Arts; but really, it's supposed to be an award for being all-around good at Mechanics, Woodwork, Metalwork, etc. The principal is just kind of dumb I guess.

I am too self consious to let anyone see these though, but have been encouraged when my wife found and read them and said I should put it out there as they were the best she's read. I have attended many art showings in the past but have not gone lately. Love the theater as well.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I write poems and books, have lots all over the Internet at the moment (usually under the name Mimic or Denjo) Currently I am having my book look at by an agent which scares the life out of me. If he likes that he will get the rest of my stuff sent to him! I have also helped out at the local Art centre (I love Art)
