When you reach the afterlife how do you think you will be remembered?

Don't be lame and say as a nice guy. Be honest. Think about it for Christ sakes.

Will people REALLY think you were a good person? And if so, why? Really, how have you, turd monster, really effected anything or anyone?

When I was born I was diagnosed with bacterial Meningitis, the doctors said I wouldn't make it. Here I am 28 years later, normal as can be and living a full life.

I want to be remembered as someone who made a difference. A good husband, a good father, a good son, and good brother.

Someone who flew all the way around the world to help a family member in need. The guy who dropped everything to support two family members in their time of peril.

Someone who people were proud to call a friend and a man who was lucky enough to be married to the most beautiful woman on this Earth.

Maybe afterlife exists only in our ability to touch other people during our current lives. Let's be realistic, after this ride is over we all become worm food.

But if we are capable of being remembered then we live on.

Think about it.

If there is a choice between thinking we are "worm food" or we will ascend to a higher place, I choose heaven.

I am a Christian and come from a family of ministers so I have heard the doubts you are expressing before Miakal.

I know in my heart the truth and I am at peace with it.

I'm not expressing doubt whatsoever. I don't believe in belief, hahahahah.

I didn't mean to take a jab at religion with that comment. I was merely suggesting that we consider our existence after our life as that in memories from the ones we touched.

It's an interesting thought, that's all.

I didn't take it that way sir just letting you know a little of my faith turns my bias when answering your original question.

I do agree that we live on in the memories of our loved ones.

Making a difference in the lives of others is a great and powerful thing.

I agree. Being that I have lost someone close to me I can attest to that first hand. You think about advice they gave and things they taught and things that they did everyday.
