Rep Power: 11 ![]() | I probably will too. Conservatives haven't got a clue at the moment, and Lib Dems are far too naive to be in government. Gordon Brown has been doing excellent with the economy too. I'd personally like to see him lead the party.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Oh dear oh dear oh dear Labour...running the economy well?????? I have to disagree. The Labour government is very good at spin but a quick look at the figures and the policy and things don't add up. Look at your tax bill and I bet its higher than last year, much more than the rate of inflation. Tax increases has led to the deduction in take home pay by nearly £100 a month in some families. Thats not acceptable in my eyes for a number of reasons. 1.) They spend a lot of money on pointless things such as saving Rover for £100 million pounds. Think of the hospital beds, school textbooks, Doctors, Nurses etc that £100 million could be used for. The only reason hes pumping up the cash is because Blairs constituency is a big car component supplier and the last thing they want is 4000 unemployed people in swing areas a month before the election. 2.) Look at the Guardian job page, just look at some of the bullshit Government jobs that are being advertised. A Stop Smoking Co Ordinator, a Breast Feeding Advisor, a Litter Patrol Officer, theres so many unneded posts being advertised but when there employed its one more off the unemployed list which is a sham. Also look at Law and Order has that gotten better under Labour...No its got much worse as has gang culture and fire arms offences. All this has also coincided with shorter jail terms for violent offenders. An interesting story which I read in Richard Littlejohns Sun column told of a woman who was subjected to illegal raves on her own land for nearly six months. She rang the police nearly 30 times and never once did a policeman come to stop the ILLEGAL RAVES ON THE WOMANS OWN FARMLAND stating that there where insufficient on manpower. She takes a shotgun to the speakers in the rave tent and three cop cars, 2 marias and a helicopter are scrambled within 10 minutes. Shes gets sent to jail. Also a teacher endures a year of hell from three known criminals, who broke her windows, vandalised her car, abused her gay son and made her life a misery. She fires an air pistol at their feet after ONE WHOLE YEAR OF THE POLICE DOING FUCK ALL and she gets six months in jail while the criminals once again get off scot free. Heres a slogan for Labours election campaign TOUGH ON CRIME......TOUGH ON THE VICTIMS OF CRIME...YET WE STILL FIND TIME TO GIVE YOU A SPEEDING TICKET FOR DOING 35 in a 30. Immigration??? Don't get me going on that account. An asylum seeker in the UK gets free accomodation and £300 a week as well as food and clothing benefits. Thats more than I earn and I work my ass off 45 hours a week. What do they do. Fuck all. Yeah thats social justice for you. Education standards are lowest in the EU and at the worst level since the Second World War. Micheal Howard doesn't know what he's doing?????? Tony Blair hasn't got a clue. Labour will most likely win but they will loose a lot of seats and I would be surprised if there majority is over fifty. |

Also theres more to running a country than its economy. Sure its a big part and even the staunchest Labour supporter cannot argue that they have lost touch with Law and Order and Immigration.

Unemployment down by 900,000 A booming economy Now I`ll tell you why I hate Labour, they created those jobs in the civil service pushing up taxes to pay for posts that have no meaning, ie 5-a-day co-ordinator, a person paid £20,000 per annum to tell people to eat fruit and veg. And the booming economy, flat on it`s arse when the european single economy gets rejscted and we bring intrest rates to normal levels (sell your house now its only really worth a third of it`s value). Face it 5 more years even under Gordon Brown will see a big decline in growth, at least a conservative government will manage this inevitable Bust.
