Never really thought about it like that but that is true as well. But you have no chance to ask for forgiveness if you commit suicide. But if you blaspheme you have an opportunity to ask forgiveness but it will not be forgiven. At least that is the way I always heard in church.

Isn't in Dante's Inferno Betrayal the greatest sin? This isn't a Christian source of course, but it's one a lot of people use. I could look it up on the net but I refuse.
