Rep Power: 10  | Comedy festivals We just recently had our Melbourne International Comedy Festival here and it was quite awesome. I was just wondering what kinda comedy festival you guys had around you and possibly who ure favourite comedian is. Mine are Dave Hughes and Danny Bhoy. | |

Rep Power: 11 | Dave Hughes is definately the 'it' comedian in Australia right now. He's always been hilarious, so his current success is well deserved. Danny Bhoy is really funny too. Is Steven Wright the really monotone guy? I find him hilarious. Mitch Hedberg was another I really liked. The thing with comedians is I rarely remember their names, more just faces. Like you see the same faces every year for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala, but I couldn't name 9/10 of them. |

Rep Power: 11 | We really only have the Melbourne one once a year, Sydney now tries to run their own just before Melbourne, just getting all the names out a week or earlier or some shit. I didn't go and see any though. Edinburough Comedy Festival sounds like something I didn't just make up. Did I make it up? I think somewhere in Canada has really big one too, the biggest in the world even? |

Rep Power: 42  | Yeah, I think Steven Wright is hysterical. I saw him on Conan one time, and he told this story that i thought was so funny. Picture him saying it, or its not nearly as funny. "I went to a seance. I tried to summon the spirit of my Uncle Bob. Then I remembered he's still alive. So I just called him collect" That Hedburg guy sounded really funny from what people here have posted of him...I'll probably try to see/hear some of his other stuff I've never heard of the other two guys... | |
