Have you ever ran away from home?

When I was like seven I ran away from home. It sucked and it got hungry so I came back.

It lasted a few hours. I was seven.

When I was about 12 I ran away, the people across the road were on holidays so I slept in a bed under the house and came back in the morning.

In Queensland, where I grew up, there is a common style of house called, oddly enough, a Queenslander. It's an old style house that they don't build anymore, but basically the house is high set on stilts, and under the house was traditionally just dirt or whatever, but by now everyone has built it in to a certain extent.

They had theirs partially built in, cemented the ground etc, and there was a bed there that I camped on.

Yup...when I was like 16 or 17. My father is a real pain in the ass and he was being an asshole, so I went and stayed with my aunt for a few days to teach him a lesson. My mother knew about it but wouldnt tell him

When my brother was a kid he said he was going to run away and packed all his stuff that he was going to take with him etc. He then went the the porch and put on his shoes and jacket. Mean while my rents were standing around watching all this go on. When he was all ready, he just stood in the porch. My Father asked him what he was waiting for and he said " Well arn't you going to drive me?" Hahaha.

I left home when I was 17 but I wouldn't call it running away. I don't recall ever running away but I know there were plenty of times I wanted to. Life sucked many times when I was a kid but to be honest I was too spoiled and had it pretty good aside from the shitty parts, so I just stayed til I was old enough to leave.
