Rep Power: 18 ![]() | What are you reading? I know that some of us read and maybe some of you have picked up the habit. What are you currently reading? I'm re-reading the following... No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson Reading for the first time... The Plague by Albert Camus (Just started it. Read The Stranger and some essays about WWII and was not a fan but everyone seems to be into him so I'll be a whore one last time. I'm also a fan of the Existentialists so he's probably worthy.) How Hitler Could Have Won World War II (I read a book of the same subject a few years ago and it was very difficult to get through. Far too technical. This one is the opposite. It's dumbed down considerably and that's just the way I like it.) |

Rep Power: 11 ![]() | I'm reading the Yellow Pages, I'm up the part where Cladding becomes Clairvoyance. It's quite exciting. Sometimes I get tired of this and want something a little more dumbed down, so I'm also re-reading the Di Vinci Code. |

Rep Power: 11 ![]() | I've tried using books on tapes to get through bullshit assigned reading before, but in the end it just prolongs the whole experience. Cliffnotes and sparknotes are the way to go. |

Rep Power: 18 ![]() | For me, a book on tape comes through to me better with a story that I would normally consider boring than my own voice would. It adds a different perspective and feeling to something that is typically a lifeless void of toilet dust. It can suck too. It's a hit and miss game. There's something besides cliff and sparknotes, I'm not sure what it's called exactly but I think it's Masternotes. It's a good one if you are majoring in English. It brings it down to size and is of better quality than the other two. |
