Have you ever gotten into a fight?

I got my ass kicked by a black kid in the 4th grade when I lived in Texas. He thought I ratted on him about stealing candy from the teacher. So when I was taking a piss, he smashed my head off the wall. When I zipped up my fly, he punched me in the stomach and threw me to the ground. I told the teacher I slipped on a puddle of water and hit my head on the toilet.

When I was in third grade I beat the living crap out of my best friends brother who was in the sixth grade.

I don't really remember how this came about but I remember being outside where I was punching and pushing him into a fence. He had no ability to fight back.

Some time in highschool this guy touched my nuts and I ranted that he was a queer. Then he kicked my ass.

This girl who I had a crush on who was just starting to like me saw the whole thing and never spoke to me again.

I've been in other fights, not a lot more, but some more. I guess their stories are not that interesting to me at the moment.

Being punched in the nose sucks, though.

Not trying to sound all tough and Simonish, but back in early high school (probably middle school time for the yanks), I was getting into a lot of fights. I got my ass kicked a few times, but most of the time I'd say I came out on the better side.

When I first turned 18 and started going to clubs and pubs and the like, I was full of bravado, testosterone, and speed, and provoked numerous fights in and out the front of bars. I probably got my ass handed to me more often than not, but I couldn't feel it anyway (wizzing off my face kinda made it easy to handle).

It's been at least 18 months now since I've been involved in any sort of scuffle.

And I'm by no means a massive guy with a strong punch. It's just always been the case for me that if you get a good punch in they typically get stunned and it allows for you to relent a holy war upon their person.

I find this is very true. That's why I often think that if you're being harassed by a junkie or someone in the street, if you really think you can't talk your way out of it (which I'd much prefer these days), don't wait for him to take a swing at you, punch the fucker directly in the nose. Don't stop swinging until he's on the ground, then kick him in the ribs a few times and run away.

I'd say yes. Of course there are exceptions, but in most cases a human will not be able to take more than one real good shot before they are stunned, and you can continue to whoop they ass.

Well if it was a junkie harassing you chances are he's already hocked it. But yeah, always take any valuables before doing the runner. Unless his mates are nearby; then you just make like my pants and split.
