Our percent gross domestic product on military spending is about 1 percent different. The United States spends more dollars, that is true, but that is because we have more.

I would also argue that The United States has to spend more on military than other countries like Canada and Australia. Mainly, this is to protect our bigger economy and continue to grow and defeat other markets around the world (we are more Capitalistic for better or worse than you other two).

The reason, and the really only reason, we don't have free health care in America is because people do not want to pay higher taxes. It seems stupid to me personally and in the end we end up paying for people without insurance anyway at an even higher cost than we would if we just had one unified system.

The problem with free health care, to me anyway, is the difference in care. Look at The United States Vs. anywhere else in the world. Our hospitals are just a lot better and the lack of competition seems to decrease any chance of real progress.

Surely a medium can be found though.

I don't want universal health care. It's not my fault people don't got health care, if they wanted it bad enough they would work hard enough to get a well off job that would pay for it.

Yeah exactly. Unfortunately the main reason my government won't give me health care is because I'm white. If I came to this country from some 3rd world hole in the wall, I'd be well taken care of. But I was born in the country. So I have to pull my own weight and work for a living, while my taxes go to other people for welfare.
