I was a supporter of the war on Iraq back when it started because I honestly believed it was the best thing for the citizens of Iraq. They at least seemed like they needed to be liberated. But now it seems that they just want US soldiers gone more than ever. How many more young soldiers have to die for what has become a "Why the hell are we still there?" war? Stay on track with this thread. Do NOT post nonsense. I would like to hear your opinions but not one liner stuff that is irrelevant. Thanks

I mean it seems like a good idea, but when you look into it they are fighting a losing battle. There are so many countries out there in the same position as Iraq. It might seem like a dickhead thing to say, but how is America going to take all these countries on their back. It just can't be done. There as so many soldiers that are dead, and more to come. It's getting out of hand... |

It's time for us to realize that not everyone wants to live how we live. We may not like the way they were living, but we can't just go around doing this to everyone. First Iraq, then what. I don't want any part of a war with Iran or North Korea. Enough young soldiers have already lost their life. I'm sick of hearing that it is our responsibility as the "super power" to clean up all of the world's problems, when we have enough problems of our own. There are people in this country who are starving. There are little children in this country who don't have medical insurrance. Look at some of the projects in our inner cities. The shit looks like a war zone, and I don't see anyone cleaning that up. The cops in New York city can't even get paid for what they do. We have to clean up our own problems, instead of cleaning up everyone elses.
