I hate to say it Canadians, but no one cares.

You can't be expected to compete. Sure you can name examples, but the population of the USA is something like 250 million, and the UK is 60 million, so quantity wise there's just no way to keep up.

And pretty much all the acts, both musicians and actors/comedians, that I've read in this thread are considered to be from the USA to anyone else in the world. Even now that I know they're from Canada, I still consider them US. The rest of the world thinks of Canada as the Northern state of the USA, and as much as you hate that being the case, it's the truth.

When it comes to music, Canada blows everyone out of the water. From Rush (One of the GREATEST bands ever) to The Guess Who, Tragically Hip, April Wine, Neil Young, Brian Adams, Barenaked Ladies, The Tea Party, Blue Rodeo, Matchbox 20. These are the one I can think of from the top of my head and they are all great bands. The US if you really think about it, has no bands. Canada when it comes to music, is way better. And if you say u havent heard any of those acts, the your opinion means nothing.
And as far as movies go, they are all shot on Canadian soil. Either Vancouver or Toronto, therefor every movie you watch belongs to us.

Music - Canada
Comedy - UK and USA (Both are a fkn joke) lol Hello!
Wrestling (seen as this is a wrestling site) - Canada by a long shot : Bret, Owen, Benoit, Y2J, Roddy Piper etc etc etc.

Wow you can name like 10 bands. Name 100, I'm sure there's 1000 bands from the US for every 100 you name. And guess what? No one outside of Canada knows or cares that they're Canadian and not US.

And heaps of movies are shot in Australia, including the Matrix, yet no one in their right mind considers them Australian. They just go here and to your northern state because it's cheaper labour.

Wrestling wise who gives a shit.

I can name you 1000 bands if you want. It will just take me awhile and truthfully I dont care that much. Unless you start naming me rap bands, there arent that many good american bands. And comedy wise, the 2 biggest stars are Jim Carrey and Mike Myers and they are Canadians.
