Just wondering what kinda of jobs people here have and have had. The first job I ever got was in construction as a drywaller, right after high school. I have also worked as an upfitter for about 6 months and as a forklift driver for 8 months (for that same upfitting company). Other than some odd jobs here and there, thats the only jobs I have ever had. Now for the past 3 yrs, been playing poker.

Post-college I worked as a stockbroker for a few months, then i was unemployed for 5 months, now I work as an analyst at a financial research company.
All through college I worked as an administrative assistant at a real estate brokerage. that was a lot of fun and I still go visit my boss every now and then
Prior to that, I worked for a few weeks as an envelope stuffer at a taxi company (they were doing something where they were sending letters to all 15,000 cab drivers in NYC and needed to people to stuff and address the envelopes),and I also worked as a doorman/elevator operator at a Park Ave building. That paid really well ($13 an hour back in 1995, which was a fortune for a 15 year old kid)
