Drugs - Right or wrong?

What's your view, should they be legalised, or should all drugs be made illegal?

What are the moral issues? We live in very drugged off times. I've seen mothers chasing children down the street. Who's to say they're not going to inject them with drugs when they catch them?

They should be legal. That way the govt. can just tax em to get money. Plus, i htink less people will do them since i'm guessing most start just because they are illegal and the thrill fo not getting caught. Plus then there would be less people in prison on drug charges and less arrests.

then on the other hand you could create a problem and people will just go crazy robbing people and shit trying to get drugs. It all depends because there will be alot of positives and negatives.

I think they should legalize the green here in the States. As for other drugs, I think it would cause major problems if someone could get a hold of some heroin or crack just as easy as they could buy a beer or some ciggarettes.

My view would be this

For Legalising Drug

- Additional tax which could be diverted to public funds or lessing the overall tax bill on your wage.
- It would make the scum known as drug dealers unemployed in effect, or would it?
- Production could be controlled
- Possible reduction in organised crime

Against

- Addictions would most likey sore, imagine if heroin became as common as a cigarette, the tax on drugs would have to be plowed into health care and rehab programs thereby causing extra burden on joe blow the taxpayer.
- Where do you stop? If you legalise drugs, then people will want more, why not legalise speeding for instance.
- It would send the wrong message, plus there would have to be an age restriction would ultimatley end up being broken resulting in kids turningup high for school.
