I'll probably go see that, maybe at the travelling cinema that's sometimes inside the T in the Park campsite entertainment area (I think it's released on the 9th of July here, when I'm leaving).

I think Moore is very good at what he does. Yes, it's one sided, but so is Bush's administration, just as militantly so as Moore. It's a nice balance.

Michael Moore is an extremist that’s for sure.

However, Conservatives have a ton of extremists who are producing an equal amount of slanted bullshit on their own.

The Conservatives had a TV Evangelist tell viewers that if they didn’t contribute money to the Republican campaign that God would strike him dead (unfortunately he never did).

Conservatives are the ones who spent nearly a billion dollars on a land deal to discover that Bill Clinton was getting a blowjob from a consenting woman.

Conservatives have accused Bill Clinton of killing one of his friends the day after he committed suicide.

Conservatives are making John Kerry look like a coward even after the fact he was shot, when Bush and Dick were never even in the military (who the fuck are they to call him a coward?).

This is extreme, folks. Is Michael Moore extreme, is he slanted? Of course he is.

But in a world where Fox News is Number one we should all relax and embrace it.

I haven't seen it yet but will try and see it soon. I can't bring myself to pay for it though so I guess I'll have to buy a ticket to another movie and walk into this one.

Ben, Moore has actually been sued by several people for "Bowling for Columbine" and there are several websites available to expose his lies. bowlingfortruth.com is on I think.

I can't really bash this film yet since I haven't seen it, but judging by the main topics of the film and what I've read, I can tell I'm going to have a hard to stomaching this. Since I can't review it yet, here's a link to someone who can.

Christopher Hitchens is one of the best political writers I've ever encountered, and he sums up beautifully my sentiments regarding Moore in a much more eloquent fashion than I ever could. He's all the more interesting since he used to be a writer for The Nation. I highly encourage you all to check out the link. Especially those that think highly of Moore and/or this film.

He was sued by 1 person, the nutcase in Michigan who showed him the loaded gun in his bedroom. As far as this film goes, there hasn't been a single lawsuit filed against him. I'm not a huge Moore fan, I just think that this film is incredibly important and should be seen by anyone wanting to get a side of the story the U.S. media chooses not to show. What facts has he "made up"? The FACT that Bush was on vacation 42% of his first 8 months in office? The FACT that Bush couldn't be bothered to miss a photo-op upon finding out about 9/11? What pisses everyone off about this film is there's no argument to be made which can possibly defend Bush. This isn't a written document, there are no misquotes, it's a body of work caught on film that features Bush doing what he does best - backpeddle while trying to remember what much smarter individuals told him to say.
