'Fahrenheit 9/11'

I just have to add my 2 cents about Fahrenheit 911. I saw it twice. It's just awesome. I applauded at the end of each show I saw as did the audience. The only thing I can see being argued is whether or not this is the best Michael Moore film. There is not one lie in the film, and I would like to see someone find one. This movie will show people who didn't know what was going on, basically what's been going on. I knew of alot of the things in the film so I wasn't surprised. But it did have Michael Moore's view (which doesn't make it untrue) and I found it to be entertaining and just great filmmaking. I am sure it will win the Best Documentary Award, and more importantly its going to help get rid of THE WORST President we have ever had the Supreme Court appoint.

I was watching Fox (it makes me laugh) News and they were talking to this woman, a liberal, who liked Fahrenheit 9/11 and they wouldn't let her get an entire sentence out!

The unfortunate reality is that these people cast votes that are worth just as much as yours or mine. joebrian just very eloquently summed up all the problems I have with this film. Other than that, I very much agree with your rant and wish everyone would take that approach to news and politics. Unlike you, however, I don't think you can just ignore the radicals and their influence, and hope that they just go away, because they won't.

I never said it was gospel, I said it was an amazing film. Those "59 Deceptions" are nonsense as they leave out the facts that don't support thier case.

The film just shows that

-Bush stole the election.... the Supreme Court wouldn't let votes be recounted despite votes being counted for Bush that shouldn't have. (Not mentioned in the 59 deceptions). There were absentee votes counted for Bush despite being past the date they should have been allowed. Is this a fun fact, that our President wasn't the President we wanted? No, so people pretend like it never happened.

-The War in Iraq was based on lies.... the reason we went changed as soon as people realize that its not a good reason. Saddam was a threat! No he wasn't. Oh, okay, then he was a bad guy and we should have gotten rid of him! Well, Iraq was a civilization and we went in and killed innocent people because we wanted it to be the way we wanted it. There are SO many countries with evil leaders and we don't care because Iraq was about us getting a country in the Middle East under our influence. Oh, and the oil didn't hurt either.

-Bush is a bad president.... and the funny thing is Fahrenheit 911 didn't even have to talk about his poor economic, social, and enviromental policies. So, on this point the movie did make a weak point. Then again, how many things do you have to screw up before people realize you are not doing a good job?

F911 shows how bad these past few years have been and it makes people uncomfortable. Some people enjoy this because they knew why they felt so uncomfortable and its refreshing to hear someone say it. Others, well they just close thier ears and yell that its a bunch of lies.

Much in the way that Michael Moore leaves out anything that doesn't support his case. I still can't believe people are calling this a documentary.

The article in question isn't out to show how great Bush is, it's point is to show how much Moore lied throughout his film. Obviously it's not going to have any anti-Bush statements in it because Moore would have had to say something good about Bush for the article to correct.

You claim that the person that wrote the 59 deceptions doesn't understand the movie, whereas as far as I can tell, you don't understand what he is doing with his list.
