HHH comments on Brock leaving

Apparently on Byte this HHH said that Brock Lesnar never gave back to superstars that helped to push him before he left.

Maybe if Brock had stuck around for 2 years squashing EVERYONE on the roster and held the title for what seemed like forever then maybe he would d have given back. After all, it only took HHH 2 years to do it. I would have loved for him to say that 4 months ago.

Too cool for school

I do recall Triple H paying his dues jobbing left and right under shitty monikers like Terra Ryzing etc. Lesnar was given everything on a silver platter, the only difference between him and Goldberg was Lesnar had an amateur career under his belt.

No, the difference is that Brock didn't come looking for any of it and didn't stick around doing something he couldn't care less about just to make some money.

HHH may have paid his dues but he also walked on a lot of people along the way as well.

Neither did HHH. HHH cares about the bussiness, he loves it! U can't even question that. Its not in brock's blood, so its best he left. I agree if he didnt love it, then get out.

Noone and i mean NOONE Pays their dues and gets to the top without any help in the bussiness. HHH didnt walk on no more people than most others do. Its just the name of the game, sorry thats just how it goes.

maybe so but not everyone gets to be in the position like HHH and have what he has and the obvious power he does being part of the family now. Look at Benoit. I would find it really hard to believe that he even once walked over anyone to get where he is now.

Or Eddie Guererro for that matter.

HHH was due for his push anyway, it just got held back after the 'Kliq Reunion' as punishment. He was made to lose in a squash to a returning Ultimate Warrior at a WRESTLEMANIA! Thats paying ur dues if anything, then there was that Hog Pen match with one of the Godwinns :S

What made HHH successful was that he could be in the ring with just about anyone on the card and look like he fit, it didnt matter if it was someone like X-Pac circa Backlash '99, or an up and coming Jericho in 2000, or someone like Shelton Benjamin now. I think people are starting to have more faith in HHH because he isnt limiting himself to the main event sector anymore and he has that uncanny ability to win clean as a heel.

Its just about getting talent recognised in the office. People wouldnt be in WWE if WWE didnt think they were marketable, its just the bookers who need to recognise just HOW marketable someone can be given the right push. People like Benoit and Guererro and to an extent people like SCSA, The Rock and HBK got their initial break into the big time through fans eating up what they did rather than stepping on toes and forcing a push. Its only when ur there in the driving seat that you can start to dictate.

HHH wasn't part of the family back when he paid his dues. He had no power then. Yes he HAS it now, but you still cant say he uses it. If he did, why in the hell would he wrestle shelton, much less lose twice to him?

Yes, because we all know that holding the title for two years is normal.

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

Hmm...

You call being off WWE TV for nearly a month and walking straight back into the title picture a non-abuse of power? :S

He had power back then, it was called the Kliq. When HHH first came in Vince game him the Hunter Hurst gimmick and really didn't think too highly of him. That all changed over time with help of the Kliq.
