The Drought Has Ended!!!

The Flames are finally back in the playoffs I am so happy

There were a lot of parties in Calgary tonight. I have a pre-sale code for TicketMaster so I am going to try and get tickets. And the pre-sale starts in 5 hours. Wish me luck

My guess is 2006. Don't see them making the playoffs next year but it will be a year where they restructure and have a team ready for the playoffs by the next season. If there is not lock out or anything that is ;)

5 minutes until the pre-sale starts

Edmonton kept their playoff hopes alive with a win in Dallas last night. Wouldn't it be cool if all 6 Canadian teams make the playoffs this year?! It's all up to the Oil.

I think Mark Messier is retired, even though he won't come out and say just yet. Too bad too because he's only 6 goals away from 700.

Yeah, Bruins tickets are easy. Red Sox tickets are a lot harder. It took me almost 24 hours to get tickets when they went on sale. Tickets.com sucks cack though. I wouldn't pay to go to a hockey game anyway.

I am officially a dumbass.

I had two $75 tickets and all I had to do was complete the order. But noooooooo I just had to be an idiot and see if there was something better. *Sigh* Everything was sold by the time I checked for something better and I realized I cost myself playoff tickets. I will try again tomorrow. They probably didn't put all tickets on sale for the pre-sale.

If not maybe it will be a long series or they will make it to the next round so I can get tickets :P

LOL Spinoff, I know how it feels to get greedy like that. Buying tickets for Neil Young on Ticketmaster, I had a pair of row-33 tickets all lined up, but then I decided I could do better, not realizing they gave the best ones away progressively. I ended up in row-35 though, so it wasn't all bad.

If the Oilers make the playoffs, and they'll need some serious help, it'll be the first time since '86 I think since all six Canadian teams made it (actually there were seven back then).

You obviously know nothing about hockey, which really is a shame considering you grew up within the most exciting era of the NHL. Three consecutive 90+ point seasons in that timeframe, led by the insane duo of Stastny and Goulet. And then years later (1993-104pts) engineering the trade that sent Lindros to Philadelphia that laid the groundworks for the current Colorado Avalanche.
