it doesn't matter which specific event actually broke the guys neck, without the cowardly sucker punch to the back of the head, moore doesn't fall head first onto the ice, bertuzzi doesn't fall on top of him and the other players don't pile on. It's bertuzzis fault that the guy is in hospital and in the condition he is in. bertuzzi should be burned at the stake for this. the only saving grace in his punishment is the stipulation that he has to apply for reinstatment, but i say he got off pretty easy. (plus he royally screwed the canucks since he's a big part of that team. naslund is going to have a lot less room to work with without bertuzzi out there in the playoffs which could be devestating to their cup chances)

I don't think their cup chances were good with him this year. Cloutier has been way too inconsistent.
