I don't know how many of you have heard, but Crosby's QMJHL team, the Rimouski Oceanic, have been complaining for about a month now about the 16-year old taking too much physical abuse on the ice. What they're doing is threatening to sit him for 2 games if the league doesn't take action with its officiating.

Now basically this kid is carrying the entire league on his shoulders, and has made an absolutely shitload of money for both his team and the Q. Players on other teams are singling him out and really beating him up, and Rimouski is trying to teach the league a lesson.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I watched a Rimouski game today, and once again, Sidney Crosby is just mind-boggling to watch. He scored twice, and now has 111 points in 48 games so far... at 16-years old.

watching crosby in the world juniors i can see how much talent he has, hard to believe he is only 16.
But what rimouski needs to do rather than complain and sit crosby out, is get themselves a goon. someone takes a cheap shot at crosby, the enforcer comes in and beats the ever loving piss out of them. That's why the instigator rule is ruining hockey. bring it back and the cheap shots and stickwork will really die down.
