How insane is that? The family refused to stop the pregnancy. The father is said to be the 26 yr old neighbour. He took off when he found out she was pregnant.

How could they not stop it? Talk about irrisponsible to let her have the baby. Not to mention the fact that the kid was having sex at 11.

Can you imagine your mother being 21 when you are 10? The mother and son are going to be pretty messed up when they grow up. The child will of course be raised by its' grandparents.

11 is really fucked up, but still not THAT un-common, over ten 11 year olds give birth in England per year.

So, totally insane in the "This 11 year old lives down my street and shes pregnant" way, but not so insane in the "Some 11 year old bitch is pregnant" way.

I cant remember where I read this, or maybe it was a documentary, but during the 50's an 8 year old got pregnant, she wasnt having conceptual sex it was under one of those totalitarian regimes. Im trying to think where, it was like Italian or Russian.

That is correct, "father" was 9 years old, and the "mother" was 8. That seems really unbelievable considering puberty won't kick in for at least two more years. Maybe the Chinese have something in their water.
