The Size of your City
What kind of city do you prefer?

Large cities or smaller ones?

Having spent some time in London I was forced with the fantasy thought of what it would be like to live there and what it's been like to live in the cities I've lived in.

I used to live about an hour from Chicago and it was the best place to live. The city had all the basics, a mall, a couple movie theaters, and some nice bars and restaurants. Nothing extremely great but you could get by. And it was only an hour drive to some better entertainment. You could have the city life for a day or a weekend without having to deal with the daily stress.

I've lived in Toronto (big city), and about 50 minutes outside of Toronto in a place called Uxbridge. Now I live about 35-40 minutes away from Victoria, which I think is one of the greatest cities in the world. It's very small and personal. The town I live in is about 10,000 strong.

There's advantages to either, I couldn't decide between one or the other.

I agree, I think suburbs are ideal, but I would rather live in a big city than than a very rural area.

I hate the city. Traffic Jams, Traffic Lights, Congestion Charges, Buskers and Beggars oh, and NO I dont want a copy of Big Issue either.

Im quite happy in my little town.

Winnipeg is a small city and I prefer that. I wouldn't say it's suburban (not fond of suburbia myself), just small.
