Computers:casual,nerd, or addict?

How much time do you spend on the computer a day/week?

I know that a lot of you will be taking time spent at work on the computer into consideration but that is ok. It just helps define your status.

I would have to choose addict. I spent up to 12 hrs a day on the computer and sometimes 14. For the whole week it can be anywhere from 40 to 60 hrs.

Keep in mind that I work 12 hrs shifts 3 and 4 days a week but I have a PC and a laptop at home. I often take my laptop to the cafe and am on it when I get home from work, it pretty much puts me in the addict category.

There was a fellow who used to visit these forums, exactly like you, working man, went online for 10-14 hours a day, and his name was Darshan. Oh except he worked in HMV (Hahahaaa!)

Behave! But seriously, how the hell can you not get bored of the internet?

Me, myself, I come on for 30-40 minutes daily, unless I have something else to look up other than KYN.

And although my shabby 40 minutes is nothing in comparison with Ida's half a day on the internet, I'd still consider myself a nerd more then casual, because its rare that I miss a day. I come on here every single day, pretty sad.

I am have become the surfing king of the net. I have lots of places I regularly check out and I read a lot of stuff on the net when I am not busy at work. I get bored now and then but not much I cna do when it is my job lol.

I hate computers, which doesn't help that I'm on one quite a lot. Not for work, but for boredom and having nothing else to do. But believe me, I'd rather be fishing. I have the license plate to prove it.

The only things I use my computer for are guitar tabs and posting here at KYN. I used to use it to download music, but it's become too difficult so I got a job to buy CDs. Sometimes I do the Yahoo crossword too, that's fun, and I check sports news at Yahoo. Whatever I do, I have Messenger running, but I rarely talk to people on it.

I guess I do actually do an ample amount of stuff, but I don't spend more than an hour and a bit every day on the net.
