| Pete Rose So, Pete Rose finally admitted to betting on baseball Is it just me, or is this story getting WAY too much attention. ESPN and Sports Illustrated are having a field day on this one. I think that Rose deserves to be in the Hall of Fame because of his on-field achievements, but should not be allowed to participate in MLB in any other way. His admission, according to Tom Verducci of Sports Illustrated, who has already read Rose's book (which hits shelves tomorrow), Rose shows no semblance of remorse or contrition for either betting on baseball games, using insider information to make such bets, or for lying about it for 15 years. Pete Rose is a scumbag, plain and simple, and it drives me nuts to see him getting so much attention | |||||||||||||||

| hahaha Did you ever notice how its only disgraced sports stars, like Pete Rose and Lawrence Taylor (I guess you can toss Dennis Rodman in there too) that end up in wrestling angles? Karl Malone would be the sole exception i can think of | |||||||||||||||

  | I think Pete Rose is pretty much a piece of trash. He should thank Fay Vincent for banning him in the first place. His post baseball exposure has skyrocketed due to his banishment. He acts like an outlaw when in fact he is nothing more than a stupid fucking scumbag. To bet on your own sport is just pathetic. It totally ruins the integrity of the game. He should never be allowed to be back in the game. Also, talk about the most tasteless time for his shitass book to come out. The week that Eck and Molitor get inducted into the Hall of Fame. | |||||||||||||||

| He should definately be in the hall for his accomplishments as a player, but I agree that he should remain banned from baseball in every other way. | ||||||||||||||
