Racism, DMW, Apologies

I apologize for insuitating that you were a racist for the comment you had made.

However, I still feel the comment was both wrong and weak. That may be a difference of opinion or it may be a clear-cut issue, I'm not sure.

I would also like to add that I never felt this was an "Administrative" issue or had anything to do with our little set of KYN rules. It seems that the little flame war and banter back and forth may have had something to do with that more than the issue at hand.

So to sum this ship up...racist, no...distateful, yes (and for me, as well). If you wish to continue the argument or defend yourself some more, you can go right ahead, and I will equally respond. Others can as well as long as they keep it clean and less stupid than they did before.

I appreciate the apology. I don't care to continue the issue because it will conitinue to go around in circles and probably disintegrate into another flame war. I feel it's unfortunate that you've pidgeon-holed me as some kind of ultra-conservative, republican, racist, simply because I've defended the conservative view on some issues discussed on these boards. If you knew me in outside these boards you would see that it couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm not even a Republican. Anyway, I'm happy to just let this die now and hopefully some topics will arise that will show you I'm not the Nazi you've made me out to be.

And Spinoff, you should just shutup. This has nothing to do with being an admin. It's about an unwarrented personal attack that was pretty harsh, so he took it back. It actually showed some maturity so you may want to take note.

Yes it does have something to do with him being an admin. When admins show weakness members don't take them as seriously and break more rules. That is why on most forums the admin is the most hated member. Because they do what is needed and don't care what other people think. He said he still thinks he was right but apologized to you. There is no need for an apology just because he gave his opinion that he still believes in. ::shaun::

I never thought DMW was breaking a rule; if I did I would've sent him a PM and addressed the issue there and not within the thread.

As for being a weak admin, I did just ban someone yesterday, and the comment DMW made never warranted "Miakal the Admin" to begin with...but it's your opinion and you can have that.

I don't think you are a stereotypical Republican. You've showed me before that you weren't, most notably with the gun control debate. You once struck me as being possibly Libertarian but all in all, I'm not too sure (especially with your opinion ON gun control).
