Do you collect anything? Baseball cards? Comic books? Old Records?



I personally used to have over 3000 comic books from the late 70 and early 80's but decided to sell them years ago because I was unemployed and needed cash for beer. How stupid is that?


Now I am a avid Bobblehead collector.

I used to collectible teddy bears (that's kinda a shocker coming from me, I know). Now I don't think I really collect anything.

I was crazy about collecting hockey cards for several years, built myself a really valuable collection. I have a couple cards that book for around 900 dollars, of course I could never actually sell them for that much.

i was an avid comic book collector in my early teenage years. dont really collect anything now, although i kinda miss comic books, especially with all the movies coming out recently

I used to collect any comic book to do with X-men, i got about 1,500, all with plastic covers and in mint condition. giving them up was one of the hardest things i ever did.

I collect the old WWF Hasbro action figures from the early 90's and I also collect replica wrestling belts.

When I was younger, I'd collect almost anything, but it always centered around hockey cards, which I still collect somewhat to this day. Collection probably has between 10,000-15,000 cards. A few boxes stacked with them, a binder containing about 3000-5000 Oilers cards, and a wall full of Mario Lemieux cards.

Good portion of my collection contains cards that O-Pee-Chee issued in the 1970-1980's, I always traded my new ones to a kid I knew who had a huge collection of the older ones. I guess you could still say the collection grows today.

My really valuable cards, almost all of which really don't have a ton of sentimental value to me, include:

UD Alex Mogilny game-used jersey card
UD Chris Chelios game-used jersey (Olympics) card
Pacific Omega Gretzky/Kariya some insert card
Topps Gold Label 3 Rod Brind A'mour (really limited, like 10 worldwide) card
Marcel Dionne rookie card (little worn out, but I love it)
BAP Gold Jason Arnott autograph

Those are most of my really valuable ones, like $150 and up. I pulled all of them from packs except the Arnott. The jersey cards are the really pricey ones.

My actual favourite cards are mostly rookie cards (Robitaille, MacInnis, Andreychuk, Kurri, Sakic, Kariya, Konstantinov) and some really old ones (Bobby Baun, Dave Keon, Tony Esposito). Those are only a handful, I have such a huge collection I'm afraid of what will happen after I grad.
