When I was like seven I opened up the gate to the neighbors yard where the dog was. He immediately ran out and ran away from all of our lives.

To this day, when I see an English Terrier a single tear runs down my angel face and makes a pool into my huge pectoral muscles.

Living up here, you've always been told not too put your tongue on anything metal in the winter. My mom told me this one morning before a class when I was 6, and a few hours later at recess, I called her bluff and had my tongue pried off the fence post.

Later that summer at my grandpa's cabin, she was telling me about the old fan, must have been from the 1960's. It had a large gapped wire cage covering the fan for safety purposes. Anyways she tells me never to put my hands near it, and what do I do but throw not one, but two fingers right in past the cage. Luckily I left with a few gashes, nothing serious.

My best friend, only about four years ago, stuck his fingers in the bottom of his universal vaccuum (industrial strength kind), to "show his dogs that it was harmless." Needless to say, he got f*cked up, and that's one of the funniest stories I've ever heard.

I've done some pretty stupid things, including nearly backing my family's car onto a busy highway when I was 4 or 5. We lived on the side of the highway, and a pear tree got in the way (I was crossing the lawn) before I hit the road. It was also pretty stupid of my mother to leave the keys in the car.

Ah, that last one reminds me of another one. I was three years old and obsessed with wanting to drive, so my dad put me and my 1 year old brother in his Escort at the end of the driveway. Told me not to touch the E-brake, of course I do it and roll right out onto the street while a truck is about to turn down the street. Man my mom was pissed at that one.
