How was your 4th? What did you do?

I saw my nephew and spent the rest of the time with the g/f. Didn't really pay attention to fire works or any of that drunken celebration, though I enjoyed the day off.

Anyone lose a finger or hand with explosives? Mr. Hyde I'm looking in your direction.

No. It is illegal in the state of Massachusetts to set off fireworks. The cops in this town come down real hard on people who break the law. Just ask Rambo and Pubu. They also live in this town.

I went & registered for college...since I'm Canadian, I didn't do any sort of celebrating for the reason you guys were. *lol* :p

I'm Canadian too, so the date was pretty irrelevant. I had a pretty good day though, got myself a girlfriend.

I am not American so I didn't celebrate but I did go to the Calgary Stampede. *Still doesn't know why he went on the same day Sloan was playing* They suck :p

it was great...i went to upstate new york (unfortunately my car broke down on the way up :angry: ) and hung out with one of my friends from college and one of his good friends. We went to some big state park, BBQ'ed and drank all day, then they dragged me to a Neil Young concert (which they loved because all i listen to is hip-hop...i was like a fish out of water). Then we went out, met a couple of girls, almost got arrested (long story) and didnt get home until 6 am

and that was just Friday

Best weekend i've had in a looooong time (with the exception of my car breaking down) Happy Birthday America

I went into Boston for the 4th, was quite crowded. something like atleast a quater of a million people, and that was just at like 8:30. I heard towards the end there was like 700,000. Didnt see the show, but saw the fireworks, those were good, kinda short. One of the firework's "sparks"(for lack of a better term) floated over on to the bridge that I was on. Not sure if someone got hit or not.

I didnt even realise it happened. So, it was Friday?

I paid money for a really expensive dinner and came home early, in time for a 7 year olds bed time. I dont wanna talk about it :angry:

I am also from Boston. I havent even attempted to go to the Pops or the Esplanade to see the fireworks for years. Waaaaaaaaaay to many people.

I prefer to sit in my living room with a vodka and tonic watching seinfeld.

The 4th to me is just a great weekend to hang with the ones you care about, eat major cookout food and drink plenty and be glad your an American.
