Rep Power: 6 | Dude the Isle of Wight is the biggest crap-pot I have ever known, its impossible to get a good job, there aint no stuff that I like doing for fun (Art galleries and Theatres, plus live bands hardly come here (the last being Toploader and before that it was ocean Colour Scene) I can be the real me, but I can't be the happy me when I am living in a place that tries so hard to piss me off and succeeds. | |

Rep Power: 19 | The easiest Buddhist book to understand, for my money, is What Is Meditation: Buddhism for Everyone by Ron Nairn. Even my retarded stoner friends were capable of understanding it. Some Buddhist books, especially ones which dig deep into Zen are confusing and need to be read multiple times (plus, practicing while reading) before coming to an understanding. What Is Meditation gives the basics real well. I wish I would've read that book first! |
