Well as I write this the NFL is only 24 hours away with the Jets playing Washington. My question is simple.

Who will be in this years Superbowl?

The NFC is loaded with teams that could all be potential NFC Champs. The AFC is a little more cloudy as many of these good teams may end up cancelling each other out.

I believe the Eagles have what it takes to finally make it to the big game. McNabb is a 5th year man and most quarterbacks statistically have their best seasons in year 5. He only gets better. I see them edging out a healthy Rams team in the NFC Championship game.

The AFC..........hmmm. Thats not so easy. San Diego could suprise some people, as well as the Seahawks, Bills and Patriots but I may have to go with Ol' Oakland just one more time. These guys are old timers and hall of famers and may realize this is it. This year or bust. I personally cant stand the Raiders, but they may be the best team.

So Simon sees a Eagles/Raiders Superbowl.

Rams in the NFC

I wanted to pick Miami in the AFC, but then i remembered that they cant win past thanksgiving

I like the Raiders or the Bills (now that they signed Lawyer Milloy). Since I hate the Bills, i'll go with the Raiders

Rams over Raiders

oh, and the seahawks are in the NFC, not the AFC

The Buffalo Bills may surprise quite a few people this year, even with the loss of Price.

Miami Dolphins cant stand the cold. Sucks to be them. I hate the Dolphins.

Yep, they are always overrated.

Plaxico Burress is pretty nasty though.

You picked the Steelers because they're your favourite team, jack. I love my Packers, but I'm not blind to their current defensive struggles. Actually the Steelers are a decent pick.

In the NFC I'm gonna go with Tampa Bay to make the Super Bowl again. Today's parity generally goes against repeat champs, but I can see the Bucs getting even better as they get more accustomed to Jon Gruden's coaching/gameplan. My sleeper pick in the NFC is Minnesota.

In the AFC I like Miami. I think their defense could challenge Tampa's this year, that's how incredibly sick it is. If they can get it together, they will be the best ball-control team in a long time. Jason Taylor, Adewale Ogunleye, Zach Thomas, Junior Seau, Sam Madison, Pat Surtain, Brock Marion, Sammy Knight, Jamar Fletcher -- that defense will keep Ricky Williams on the field for a loooong time. My sleeper is Indy, but they need a good year from Edge.

My first post back after being Down Under for two months:

Fantasy pick would be: Oakland vs 49ers with the 49ers winning.

Actual: Eagles vs Chiefs, Eagles winning.
