I said from the go that this wasn't about political party but about economics. Second, Bush is the one that gave these companies big tax breaks, just like Reagan did in the 80s, and said it was for "alternative sources" and "low gas mileage" but there is absolutely zero requirements for these companies to actually do any research. But as long as welfare is for billionares and not the poor it's perfectly cool. |

Though the impeachment thing was a set-up and a joke. He actually did lie about some important things and he did some awful things as president, so why not attack that? that's what I say. My point with this thread, for those who may have missed it...is that globally the direction of the automotive industry and that of energy is leaning less towards oil. It seems like we are doing a big disservice to our country and our automakers by not pushing them, and helping them more in the right direction. Someone else is going to beat us to it and we'll be left behind. |
