Well this stunt was kind of boring, since he just sat in a box for like 44 days. But however, they say, if he resumes normal eating habits right away, he might die. That shall be interesting.

It's pretty obvious this "feat" was faked too - he hasn't lost enough weight to not have eaten anything.

Didn't watch any of it - I made a joke of it at first (As did the entire nation) but now it's just a bit.. stupid.

This Blane thing really is beginning to irritate me, that is, public reaction.

Of course he lost enough weight, 56 pounds is like 10 pounds over what he shoulda lost. His belly doesnt look skinny at all, but comparing it with the tellytubby that entered hes lost quite a lot. And look at his ####ing face, ew, his cheeks, the skin around his neck, his head looks gross, like un-natural.

What irritates me most is people who sit back in a comfy chair and ignorantly grumble "Yawn for that" when they dont actually think about how hard it would be to do something like that. No shower, no tv, no sex... Im not even interested in the whole starvation and energy thing, maybe he cheated, I dont really care. He still stayed in a box which must have been really, really, really boring.

If you flicked to the live coverage on Sky you cant watch it for 3 minutes, its mind numbingly boring just watching him sit there, looking irritated, slumped in the corner of a box. But you can flick away, he had to sit there for SIX WEEKS.

You could say that ultimately it was stupid and pointless, but he at least did something with his time, and it was an experience, and most importantly it shook things up, which is something no other magician is doing- shocking.

I think he is the most amazing illusionist/magician that there is. If you don't think so then you aren't a big fan of it to begin with. Making huge things disappear takes crues and a lot of people, Blane does everything by himself and hands on which is what I find very entertaining. I doubt anybody here could do what he did so to mock it is only an insult to yourself.
