Mine is red, but needs a paint job real bad. Some rot under the doors, needs shocks. All should be fixed by the spring.[/quote:post_uid0] I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think your insurance will actually go down if you paint it a different color than red. I've heard from numerous people that insurance companies think that red cars are more prone to being involved in an accident. I never understood how they came to that conclusion but I've never actually confirmed that. Then again, Massachusetts insurance is outrageous no matter what color the car is. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | It varies from company to company, but some of them do in fact have higher premiums for red cars. The theory is that red is the color of sports/racing cars, and are therefore more dangerous. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The car I want right now is a '79 Camaro Z28[img:post_uid0]http://www.blacktieclassics.com/images/79%20Chev%20Z28%20Gold%20%207.jpg[/img:post_uid0] I want mine hunter green, and the stripes on it should differ in shades like the one pictured above, but green as well. I almost had one a little less than 2 years ago. My mother was going to buy it, and then when I got my license finally, she was going to give it to me Some jackarse bought it. At there house hold, they have a new Corvette, new Mustang, and a few other higher priced cars. Why can't they just let me have my damn car? |
