I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think your insurance will actually go down if you paint it a different color than red. I've heard from numerous people that insurance companies think that red cars are more prone to being involved in an accident. I never understood how they came to that conclusion but I've never actually confirmed that. Then again, Massachusetts insurance is outrageous no matter what color the car is.

Actually, it don't matter what color your car is, insurance is not color biased.

It varies from company to company, but some of them do in fact have higher premiums for red cars. The theory is that red is the color of sports/racing cars, and are therefore more dangerous.

I want mine hunter green, and the stripes on it should differ in shades like the one pictured above, but green as well.

I almost had one a little less than 2 years ago. My mother was going to buy it, and then when I got my license finally, she was going to give it to me Some jackarse bought it. At there house hold, they have a new Corvette, new Mustang, and a few other higher priced cars. Why can't they just let me have my damn car?
