Rep Power: 18 ![]() | Two stupid questions I've just posted, I know. Is North Ireland still part of Britain or did things change a few years back or sometime recently? If they haven't changed, why not? Whats going on with that? |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | It was never going to be given back to Ireland, and to be honest I dont think it ever will. Especially after the "successful" court meetings last week which lead us to nowhere. Brits dont want it? Bullshit. If the British government didnt want it would they be as awkward as to condemn any little piece of legislature that would even put a small lean in on uniting Ireland? |

Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() | The general opinion in Ireland is that it is becoming too much like America with all the night life and what not that is exploding in the past few years. They also feel it will be 200 years before all of the affects of the fighting etc will be gone. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Well I'd rather have Ireland as a commonwealth of the United States than those freeloaders, Puerto Rico. Those mother####ers get all of our benefits without even paying taxes. Yet we have to pay taxes to receive this benefits? Not to mention all of the homeless Americans. The American government doesn't give a sh*t about it's own people. If I had the money, I'd leave the country. But I dont so I'm stuck here. I went off topic a little. But I had no idea that North Ireland was part of the UK. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | The general feel of Irelands opinion (Despite last public opinion polls on this sorta thing being hugely out dated) is that Ireland want the North back, simply because, FINDERS KEEPERS. Well not even, it was always a part of Ireland and a long while ago represented the culture that the Republic still has. In fact in some ways Northern Ireland still has a lot of Gaelic culture, when Britain doesnt even have ####ing culture. Me, personally, I would never EVER dream of admitting this to friends or family, but I dont really give a sh*t. Haha, I go down South (Im like 5 miles from the boarder) and its really much the same as when I go up Northernly. Of course if I had the option I would love it if a United Ireland actually happened, but Im not getting worry wrinkles over it at the same time. |
