People who can't get to KYN.

Hey,

I know there's a few people who are unable to get to KYN, and are having to use a proxy to get to the site. Could you please email me (terry@zuulnetworks.com) the exact error you're seeing, along with doing a tracert.
If you don't know how to do a tracert go to Start-> Run -> Command -> Tracert knowyournews.com.

I'm thinking this maybe an issue with your ISP caching the Nameservers, however I'm not exactly sure. If you're on an educational network (Such as LGCA) that may also be the problem, as many only update the nameservers once or twice a month.

Also, if you could, try going to www.oneshortadozen.com. It's a site that is hosted on the same server, so if you can get their, then I'm fairly sure it's an issue on your ISP's end.

I can get onto that site on the same server, so thats not it.

I can't log in at home but I can at work. Tis weird.

Okay, since you can get to a site on the same server, I'm going to guess that it's just that your ISP hasn't downloaded the new nameservers yet. I've already had 2 people email me, one with a tracert attached that showed it pointing to the wrong IP. So, I'm going to say that is what the issue is. Hopefully this issue will correct itself soon.

I have the same problem except I can get in from home if I do a google search for know your news and access threw that link using IE but not if I try to access the site by typing it in. Did the cookies, cache, flush/dns. I can however access the site when I use the opera browser.

Ya got me on that one. Maybe try using http://knowyournews.com instead of www.knowyournews.com?
