I say this for one good reason.

I love Formula One. Grand Prix 3 needs to be toned down a little to run at a decent speed.

I bought Grand Prix 2 for £1.75. With free upgrades, I can go to 2003 stats, where the latest GP game only covers 2001 stats.

There ya go. Classic.

Simon, Thank you for your indepth analysis of the subject matter.

You get alot of good books in charity shops. all for about a pound or two so you cant go wrong.

DO you think its somewhat unproductive to charge such cheap prices in charity shops? shouldnt they put a few punds more on items? surely the amount they get now from their current prices is a bit sparse.

So is a charity shop, the UK equivalent to a thrift store?

A charity store sells second hand donated goods, and the profits go to charidee, mate.

I got a load of Deep Purple tour shirts for £1 each once.

I guess Salvation Army & Goodwill would be similar to "charity shops".

I use to work in one. Got everything half price. You can find a lot of cool clothes when you get to see what it going out everyday. I don't shop in them now because I can't be bothered trying to find that perfect find.

Yeah, I've had a few lucky breaks at them but I don't go very often 'cause it seems so rare.
