Hey freak, what is your father's name? I am betting I have friends who would know him or I might have heard of him myself.

My borther is gay and I have many gay friends as a result. I don't even think about their sexual preference because they are my friends and that is all that matters. They are who they are and I like them for the person they are not who they "do".

[quote:post_uid0="Reilly"]I also hate gay people's talking in sexual tones at un-necessary times, ie, all of the time. Its like their lives revolve around sex but they dont even want it as much as straight people, or as I call them "Normal folk".

I kid Im actually not a homophobe, its just that gay people consistently disapoint me in terms of personality, just like goths and punks. And old people. And the homeless. Maybe society's people just aint good enough for me, and I can sympathise with that, but I wont because society ####ing sucks.[/quote:post_uid0]
This might be the saddest example of broad generaliztion that I have ever seen. I know you said you were kidding, but dang man. I guess it's theoretically possible that every single gay, punk, goth, homeless, and old person you have ever met are people with crappy personalities... but it sounds to me like there might be a slightly different problem... i.e., you need to get over yourself. I mean, it's possible that a lot of those people are negative, but they're negative for a reason. None of the people are a part of mainstream society, either by choice or by chance. And when you can step out of (or get forced out of) American mainstream society, you can really begin to see what a crock it really is. But know matter how much you are faced with it, you really can't escape it without leaving the country (which isn't exactly practical for most people).

So anyway, back to the point... I don't think I have any gay friends, but I have a gay cousin. However, he contracted AIDS from a guy who knew he had AIDS all along. So my cousin was bitter for a long time... but I think he was justified.

[quote:post_uid0]Gay men have the best sex. They have the most willing partners and they don't have to be committed like female/male relationships.[/quote:post_uid0]

I sincerely doubt it works like that, and I doubt many gay people would be extremely flattered. Not all men (gay or straight) are complete whores. And it's not like you can't find women out there who are slutty enough to sleep with you without the commitment. Believe it or not, some men (gay or straight) have these things called feelings. And besides that, there is actually a chemical released when you're involved in sexual activities that affects your emotions. In the beginning, you generally have sentiments towards the people you are getting on (or who you spank it over). But the more and more you do it with (or spank it over) different people, the easier it is to completely remove sex from feelings. Sorry, that was a tangent...

What are you looking at? What? You've never seen a kid in a wheelchair? I'll run you over!

Well men biologically want to have as many partners as they can have (spreading the seed). Obviously, it's difficult to do that with modern norms for a man and woman. Yes, a straight man can find a whore, but if he wants something slightly more than that (a brief period of tolerance of that person) he's more likely to find that as a gay man with another gay man.

As for your comments about Reilly, yes.

I think the fact that I was joking, you accepted that I was joking and oh yeah, I was joking, kinda lets me off the hook here.

Of course Ive met gay people as well as other types of people that Ive liked in some way or another, but I just know about 7 gay people and 5 of them are real assholes, the other 2 are alright. Generally theyre seen as being this way by most people (Un-biased, reasonable people that is, other kinda people dont really count).

Give it time

Okay, fair enough. If everything you said was completely in jest, then I apologize.

I'm not sure if that was making fun of me for liking Dashboard, or just simply making fun of Dashboard... but no, that I know of, none of my friends are gay... the Dashboard concert I went to was probably the biggest "couples" concert I have ever been to... it scored me some major points with my girlfriend... and it was also a good place for any guy who wanted to pick up 17-year-old girls... but, you're right, there were probably some gay people there... if so, they weren't very public about it at the concert...
