Which guy do you think has the absolute meanest stuff in the majors? Is he a starter or a reliever? Feel free to select Other, I included some of the more well-known veterans as well as a few up-and-comers.

Gagne probably, however if he were a starter he might not be as domincation. For a current pitcher I'd say Pedro Martinez, but of all time, Greg Maddux. The guy was just amazing when he was right on, he was amazing too even when he was dead on though.

Greg maddux of all time?!?!?

Wow, thats a bold statement.

What about Clemens or Ryan?

Greg Maddux is a great pitcher dont get me wrong, but he isnt even close to the best pitcher ever. I wouldnt even put him top 10.

Look at the first few years of his career........he was horrible.

The only pitcher that I can remember to be real good since the day he stepped into the majors is Roger Clemens.

Pshhh Roger Clemens. I've heard good things about the Mark Prior, and Halladay was amazing with the Jays with a terrible bullpen and no closer. Just early in the morning and offhand I'll say Pedro Martinez, but hey I'm a BoSox fan.

I went with Pedro. I love watching him pitch, and if he had the durability of a Roger Clemens, people would be including his name right up there with Ryan, Koufax, Clemens.

If he had the duribility of those guys he would be considered better than any of them.

Too bad.

Also, Nolan Ryan is overrated. ???
