I wear £4 jeans. I used to wear £25 jeans.

I can tell very little difference, and most people hadn't noticed a difference at all.

How do you know they can't tell the difference? Do you go up to everyone and ask, "Can you tell the difference between my jeans I have on, and the one's i paid 5 times as much for?" I doubt it. No one really cares how much or what brand it is, and if they do care, they are too superficial.
