-16 goals in their last 4 games.

-12 out of 14 possible points in their last 7 games.

-They ended San Joses 7 game undefeated streak.

-They are climbing up the Northwest division standings.

And now tonight they made the division leading Canucks look bad ::

so the question i have is this, is the team really for real, or is this just one of those once a season runs that gets everyones hopes up things like they've been known to have lately??

Well the last really good run I can remember was when we first signed Turek. We were the best team in the NHL but then Turek got injured and the season went downhill. So as long as they can stay healthy they might be able to keep it up. I think this is the year they will finally make the playoffs but don't see them making it past the first round.

Yeah, Flames are doing good.

But how bout those Leafs?! 7 wins in a row, first time since the 93-94 season! But I don't know why I am mentioning that cause I hate the Leafs.

The Hawks, which is my team, are winless in their last 12 games! When will the madness end?!

PS- Yes I know you wanted this to be a Flames thread, and it still can be, just with a few more teams added into the hockey talk.

It can still be about the Flames. In November the Flames beat Chicago two times including a nice 6-2 win ::

And the Flames beat the Leafs two games before they started their 7 game winning streak. That game is also part of their streak right now.

I forgot that the Edmonton loss was an OTL in my last post.

So they are on a 9 game point streak. With 15 out of a possible 18 points.

And with how they are playing the Penguins should be no problem. Then a rematch with Wild which they should win. And Carolina should be another win. Then on the 13th they face Colorado which will be a hard game to win. Last time they lost in OT 6-5. I am hoping for a win but if not hopefully a tie or otl.

Oh man! That 6-2 loss to Calgary was brutal for the Hawks. I taped the game, thinking it would be an easy win for Chicago, but damn! I have since taped over that game. It was just ugly.

Calgary has that new goalie from San Jose who only allowed one goal in the first 2 games he's played for them. They beat the Wild last night, scoring the game winnning goal with under 30 seconds left in the 3rd.

I wish Chicago and Calgary could trade Sutter coaches; Brian isn't having much luck in Chicago. Maybe Darryl could turn things around for us. Oh well, wishful thinking. Chicago needs more than a new coach, they need a new team.lol.

I wonder if Calgary will make the playoffs this year.

Calgary's got the longest current playoff drought in hockey I think, they haven't been since 95-96.

Yeah, were knocked out swiftly by the Avs on their route to the Cup.

Anyways once Turek gets back from injury, it's all downhill from there. Trust me.

P.S. Make that 5 sh*t.
