I suspect most people will choose hearing, but many music lovers or people that need to hear may not choose it. I would choose hearing. I barely listen to anyone anyway. Seeing is so important to me.

Rep Power: 41 ![]() | I would choose sight...without hearing I could never listen to music again, also I think you gain much more appreciation for life and truly see it's beauty without the benefits of eyesight. |

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | I fully agree with Bike. Most people incorrectly base things on sight. For example, many beautiful women have sexual relations with me based on my attractiveness. However, what they think is attractive is far from it, hence they are stuck with a long laundry list of diseases while I remain in a state of bliss. I enjoy music too much to lose my hearing, altought it would be wonderful to live life without hearing other people and having to engage in social conversations and the like. Alright, I change my mind. Music can be done in brail. Off with the ears, most of us don't have em' anyway! |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I'd choose hearing. I have taken an American Sign Language class in high school, so I have some help if I did lose my hearing. Not to mention it's just fun to speak another language someone doesn't know, and talk about them. Besides there is a surgery that you can get to get your hearing back, quite expensive but possible. |

Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is based on losing the sense RIGHT NOW, instead of at the start of our lives, right? Either way, I'm sure I'd choose to lose my hearing. It's weird to say that, since I'm as big a fan of music as there is, but I think I'd just get so bored without sight. Spending time alone without sight would just get so frustrating. Listening to music would help, but not nearly enough.
